Kayla + Kade | Engaged

Its been a while! Ive had a super busy year and just sitting down after a busy busy October! Kayla & Kade are my first wedding for 2018, so I thought I would share their engagement session.

A little back story on this: I have changed a little bit about how I edit and my 'style' as you would call it. I'm excited as I feel like I have a little bit of a 'new beginning' happening again in my business. It's exciting, scary and fun. Change is good!

Spring 2017 Styled Shoot | Grand Rapids, Michigan

This spring, I really wanted to do a small styled shoot for MYSELF. Wedding styles vary between brides & I wanted to get creative and photograph a bride & groom in my favorite location, with beautiful flowers, and details that were exactly what I wanted!! And I GOT TO!!! I took Chelsea + Trent out to West Olive, Michigan, a nearby town in west Michigan which has these BEAUTIFUL tall trees, all lined in rows. It's absolutely breath taking. And these two have been married for a little under two years, and it was the perfect excuse for Chelsea to get back in her little white dress. And I also borrowed my favorite veil of 2016 (Thanks Bekah!!!) to add to Chelsea's look. Trent wore a classic navy blue suit.. my mom and I created our very own bouquet for Chelsea, it was amazing!!

I'm so proud of these images. It was a great way for me to get back into shooting before my wedding season of 2017 begins!! I hope you enjoy!!
